"Sherlock" Stars' Marvel Roles

It's no secret that Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are two of the most sought-after actors of our time, and who doesn't want to see them working togther even more?

First there was "Sherlock", then "The Hobbit" trilogy, and now the Marvel Universe!

We've had our first look at Benedict Cumberbatch as the mysterious, magic-weilding Dr. Strange-- a neurosurgeon who discovers the weird world of magic after a near-fatal car accident:

And now Martin Freeman hints at his character's role in the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War".

“You’re not quite sure which side he’s on,” Freeman said when he was asked about his character [Everett Ross, who, in the Marvel comics, worked for the U.S. State Department] earlier this year. “It looks a little bit like he’s playing one game when, actually, he’s playing another. It’s the kind of character I like because it’s ambiguous and because you don’t know whether he’s, you know, good or bad.”

Now I know these are totally different movies, but here's hoping that maybe we'll see the these two run into each other sometime in the future? I mean, I'd be happy if that was literally--they're walking down a busy street, each on a different mission, and just, Whoops! Sorry I ran into you. (beat) *insert grinning fans here* (they go on their way).

Oh, and here's another Marvel-related bonus for you: The villian in "Doctor Strange" will be played by none other than "Hannibal"'s Mads Mikkelsen!
